Every year PhD students have the opportunity to present their research to their peers and the wider research community in WWIEM. Tara Bertholon, an MS Society funded PhD student in the Dombrowski lab was awarded third prize for the best oral presentation. The prize was presented by the keynote speaker, Dr Eduardo Oliver. Dr Oliver is an Associate Professor at the Centre for Biological Research Margarita Salas (CIB) of the Spanish National Council for Sciences (CSIC) in Madrid (Spain).
Tara was also a co-organiser of this years symposium. So lots of hard work all around. Congratulations Tara!
